Ringkasan ini menunjukkan keinginan untuk menyiasat dan mencadangkan alat yang sesuai untuk mengukur ketinggian lutut, panjang lengan dan demi-rentang. Penilaian status pemakanan bergantung kepada pengukuran yang tepat bukan hanya berat badan tetapi juga ketinggian. Walaubagaimanapun, beberapa ketidakupayaan dan penyakit biasa membuat sukar untuk mengukur ketinggian yang tinggi dalam banyak pesakit. Oleh itu, pelbagai formula berdasarkan tulang yang tidak berubah panjang telah dibangunkan. Kaedah ini termasuk ketinggian lutut, panjang lengan dan hujung demi satu. Dalam mengukur panjang tulang, peranti yang tidak rumit, mudah, sensitif dan boleh dipercayai dicari. Sensor ultrasonik HC SR04 yang dikodkan oleh Arduino UNO dipilih untuk mengukur panjang yang ditambah oleh mekanisme kreatif untuk memantulkan kembali gelombang yang kemudiannya dipaparkan pada paparan LCD. Pengukuran sehingga 400cm boleh dibuat dengan ketepatan ± 0.3cm. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ This brief shows the desire to investigate and propose the suitable device to measure knee height, forearm length and demi-span. Evaluation of nutritional status rely on accurate measurement of not only body weight but also height. However, a number of common disabilities and diseases make it difficult to accurately measure standing height in many patients. Therefore, various formulae based on bones that do not change length have been developed. These methods include knee height, forearm length and demi-span. In measuring the length of the bones, an uncomplicated, effortless, sensitive and reliable device is sought. An ultrasonic sensor HC SR04 coded by the Arduino UNO is chosen to measure the lengths added by a creative mechanism to reflect back the waves which is then displayed on a LCD display. Measurement of up to 400cm could be made with accuracy of ±0.3cm.
