Dalam pengurusan pembinaan, terdapat banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi sesebuah projek pembinaan. Masa, kos dan kualiti merupakan antara tiga fakor utama. Melalui tesis ini, kita dapat mengenalpasti faktor kejayan kritikal yang meyumbang kepada kejayaan sesebuah projek pembinaan. Lebih – lebih lagi, ia dapat dijadikan sebagai panduan untuk pihak yang mengendalikan projek pembinaan untuk meramal hasil projek berdasarkan pendapat masing – masing. Semua data yang berkaitan dikumpul dari internet, kajian terdahulu, perpustakaan dan lain – lain. Pengumpulan data, sesi temuramah bersama pengurus projek, jurutera dan konsultan dan analisis data dijalankan untuk mendapatkan pendapat masing – masing serta hubungan antara komen – komen yang diberikan oleh pihak terbabit. Berdasarkan kajian terdahulu dan selepas kajian literatur, keputusan menunjukkan perkara kritikal adalah di tapak pembinaan ketika kerja – kerja sedang dijalankan. Secara terperinci, kualiti kerja adalah faktor utama. Selepas menjalankan analisis, keputusan yang dihasilkan juga menunjukkan kualiti kerja menjadi faktor kritikal dalam menyumbang ke arah kejayaan sesebuah projek. Kualiti kerja yang baik menghasilkan produk yang baik and seterusnya mencapai kehendak dan harapan klien. ___________________________________________________________________________________ In construction management, many factors affect the performance of the construction project. Time, cost and quality are mainly the main three key factors. From this thesis, we are able to identify the critical success factor that contributes more towards the success of the construction project. Furthermore, it would be as the guideline for the parties who handling the construction project to be able to forecast the outcome of the project based on their point of view. All the related data have been collected from the internet, previous study, library and so on. Collecting data, interview session with project manager, engineer and consultant and analysis of data is conducted to get their response and also the relationship between the comments by those parties. Based on previous study and after review of literature, the result indicates that mainly the critical part would be at the construction site where all the works is under progress. To be precise, the work quality would be the main concern. After done the analysis, the result also indicates that the work quality would be the critical factor contributes towards the success of construction project. Good work quality produced excellent product and later on satisfy the clients’ requirement and expectation.
