BS 3074:1989, titled "Specification for Nickel and Nickel Alloys: Seamless Tube," was a British Standard that detailed the requirements for seamless tubes made from nickel and its alloys. This standard addressed tubes in the cold-worked condition with outside diameters over 6 mm up to and including 115 mm, and in the hot-worked condition with outside diameters over 60 mm up to and including 250 mm. It covered aspects such as chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, tolerances, heat treatment, testing, and marking. Published on March 30, 1990, BS 3074:1989 superseded the 1983 edition of the standard. However, it was withdrawn on July 1, 2014, and has not been directly replaced by a new standard
