Dengan meningkatnya kesedaran kelestarian di peringkat global, industri pembinaan berada di bawah tekanan untuk meningkatkan kecekapan dan pelaksanaan. Pelaksanaan Sistem Bangunan Berindustri (IBS), yang mana komponen-komponen dibina di luar tapak, mempunyai potensi menggalakkan pembangunan lestari. Dalam usaha untuk menjadi lebih berdaya saing dalam aliran semasa, ahli-ahli pembinaan tempatan perlu mengambil kelebihan ini dan mangalihkan paradigma mereka daripada pembinaan konvensional kepada IBS. Ini boleh dicapai dengan kawalan yang lebih baik terhadap persekitaran pengeluaran, meminimakan sisa pembinaan, menggunakan tenaga bahan binaan cekap, dan menstabilkan keadaan kerja. Kajian ini telah memberi tumpuan kepada projek jambatan iaitu Jambatan Kedua Pulau Pinang. Projek ini bertujuan untuk menentukan hierarki pelbagai factor yang mempengaruhi pembangunan infrastruktur mampan. Alat yang sedia ada, petunjuk dan garis panduan disemak semula, dianalisis dan dikategorikan mengikut ciri-ciri dan aplikasi mereka. Terdapat empat aspek pembangunan infrastruktur lestari yang telah dikategorikan iaitu ekonomi, alam sekitar, sosial dan konsep reka bentuk Setiap aspek kelestarian mempunyai faktor masing-masing. Akhir kajian ini, aspek tertinggi dalam hierarki adalah aspek sosial dan hubungan yang paling berkait rapat adalah antara konsep reka bentuk dan aspek sosial dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi statistik dengan menggunakan Pakej Statistik untuk Sains Sosial perisian (SPSS). Kajian lanjut mengenai aspek alam sekitar harus dijalankan untuk menggalakkan aspek kelestarian dalam penggunaan IBS. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ As the sustainability awareness rises globally, the construction industry is under pressure to improve the efficiency and project of delivery. The implementation of Industrialised Building Systems (IBS), for which its components are built offsite, has the potential of promoting sustainability development. In order to be competitive in this current trend, local construction players have to take this advantages and shift their paradigm from conventional construction to IBS. This can be achieved by better control of production environment, minimizing construction waste, using efficient building material energy, and stabilising work conditions. This research has focusing on bridge project which is Second Penang Bridge namely Jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah. This project aims to determine the hierarchy of various influencing factors on sustainable infrastructure development. Existing tools, indicators and guidelines are reviewed, analysed and categorized according to their characteristics and application. There are four aspects on sustainable infrastructure development which are economy, environment, social and design concept had been categorized. Each of the sustainability aspect has their own factors. End of this research, the highest of hierarchy aspect is the social aspect and the most significant relationship between design concept and social aspects by using the correlation statistical analysis by using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. Throughout this project, further research on environment aspect should be conducted to promote IBS adoption on sustainability aspect.
