Sebuah sistem kawalan pencari suria untuk sinaran matahari telah direka untuk meningkatkan penghasilan panel suria yang pegun. Disini, sebuah mekanisme sistem kawalan pencarian suria telah dipogramkan melalui “Field Programmable Gate Array” ataupun singkatannya ialah FPGA untuk mengawal pusingan panel suria berdasarkan keamatan cahaya matahari. Disamping itu, mekanisme sistem ini juga disertakan dengan kaedah yang lain seperti pusingan bermasa dan manual. Kaedah manual disediakan juga adalah untuk penentukuran bagi pusingan panel suria kepada pengguna. Disini kaedah utama yang digunakan untuk mencari kedudukan matahari adalah menggunakan penderia keamatan cahaya manakala kaedah-kaedah lain adalah untuk melengkapkan fungsi sistem pencari suria. Secara ringkasnya, untuk mencapai objektive projek ini, perkakasan utama yang digunakan adalah papan litar FPGA De2 sebagai pengawal. Papan litar ini akan diprogramkan untuk mencari keamatan cahaya matahari yang paling baik. Berdasarkan statistik-statistik yang terdahulu, perbandingan antara antara panel suria yang pegun dengan panel suria yang berkeupayaan mencari keamatan cahaya matahari membuktikan bahwaa penggunaan pencari suria meningkatkan produktiviti sebanyak 20%. Kesimpulannya, sistem kawalan panel suria lebih berkesan daripada sistem solar panel suria yang pegun dan meningkatan produktiviti. _____________________________________________________________________________________ A solar tracking control system for the sunlight was invented for enhancing the solar productivity. A programmed solar tracking system device via Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) was used to control the rotation of solar panel with the movement based of the sun light intensity and including other methods such as timer rotation and manual mode. The manual mode was provided for calibration of solar panel rotation by the user. Here the main method will be applied to track the sun is by using the light intensity sensor, while the other methods are also provided as to complete the Solar Tracker System function. Briefly, in order to achieve the goals of this project the main hardware used was FPGA De2 Board as the controller. It will be programmed to track the best intensity of light. Based on the statistics previously, the comparison between fixed and sun tracked solar stills showed that the use of sun tracking increased the productivity for about 20%. In conclusion, that the solar tracking control system is more effective than fixed system and it is capable for enhancing the productivity
