This part of IEC 519 is applicable to indirect resistance heating equipment and direct resistance heating equipment respectively specified in 1.1 and 1.2. its object is the standardization of safety requirements for the resistance heating equipments indicated below. This part shall be read in conjunction with IEC 519-1 which it supplements.
