This Malaysian Standard specifies the quality requirements and characteristics for all chocolate products for sale to consumers.
These products shall contain, in their formulation, the requirements specified in this standard with the addition of a range of wholesome foodstuffs such as sugars, sweeteners, milk products, flavouring substances, food additives and other food ingredients in order to modify, in a characteristics manner, the organoleptic properties of the final product.
