Stesen Keretapi KTMB Ipoh adalah perhentian terakhir bagi Perkhidmatan Keretapi Elektrik (ETS ) yang terletak di tengah-tengah Ipoh. Pengguna ETS bertambah dari masa ke semasa, mewujudkan masalah akses dan keluar dari stesen keretapi. Mod pengangkutan yang digunakan oleh penumpang sama ada untuk akses dan meninggalkan Stesen Keretapi KTMB Ipoh. Dari keputusan yang diperolehi, majoriti pengguna ETS lebih suka menggunakan kereta untuk akses (75.7%) dan keluar (79.6%) dari stesen kereta api. Teksi adalah pilihan yang popular untuk pengangkutan awam bagi kedua-dua akses (5.2%) dan keluar (12% 1). Salah satu aspek yang penting dalam pemodelan pengangkutan adalah untuk meramalkan tingkahlaku pilihan perjalanan. Soalan keutamaan dinyatakan bersedia untuk memahami tingkah laku pengguna. Satu model logit multinomial (MNL) dengan statistik perisian pemprosesan data SPSS telah digunakan untuk menjelaskan corak perjalanan dan faktor yang mempengaruhi pilihan mod penumpang ETS di Ipoh. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ KTMB Ipoh Train Station is the last stop for Electrified Train Services (ETS) located in the heart of Ipoh. Due to the increased number of ETS users, the issue of accessing and egressing the train station have surfaced. This study focused on the passengers’ mode choice in accessing and egressing the KTMB Ipoh Train Station. From the result, majority of the user prefer using car for accessing (75.7%) and egressing (79.6%) the train station. Taxi is the popular choice for public transportation for both access (5.2%) and egress (12%). One of the important aspects of transportation modeling is to predict the travel choice behaviour. Stated preference question was prepared to understand the behaviour of the users. A multinomial logit model (MNL) with statistical data processing software SPSS was used for explaining the travel pattern and factors affecting mode choice of ETS passengers’ in Ipoh.
