Tujuan kerja rekaan dan perlaksanaan bagi analog pelatih adalah untuk manghasilkan satu alatan bantuan bagi tujuan pengajaran. Pelatih elektronik adalah satu cara berkesan yang membolehkan ilmu teori dapat dipersembahkan dalam bentuk yang lebih praktikal dan nyata. Kerja-kerja rekaan ini bermula dari penyelakuan dengan menggunakan Multisim. Dalam langkah penyelakuan, jenis-jenis komponen yang akan diguna diperiksa dan keputusan bagi rekaan ini dibandingkan dengan nilai-nilai teori. Dari penyelakuan, ia menunjukkan bahawa bahagian pemodulatan amplitud boleh dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan IC MC 1496, sejenis pemodulat terimbang untuk menjalani operasi pemodulatan amplitud dan komponen ini masih boleh digunakan lagi dalam tiga situasi, iaitu pemodulatan amplitud jalur sisi kembar, pemodulatan amplitud jalur sisi kembar tanpa jalur pembawa, dan pemodulatan satu jalur sisi kembar dengan perubahan litar yang minor. Dalam pemeriksaan eksperimen, keputusan dari digital osiloskop yang baik telah ditunjukan oleh pemodulatan amplitud jalur sisi kembar dan pemodulatan amplitud jalur sisi kembar tanpa jalur pembawa. Di sebaliknya, pemodulatan satu jalur sisi kembar menghadapi masalah pelemahan yang serious. Oleh kerana itu, pemodulatan amplitud jalur sisi kembar tidak dapat direka dengan berjaya. Bagi bahagian pemodulatan frekuensi, rekaan pemodulatan frekuensi stereo dipilih. IC BA 1404 telah dipilih dalam bahagian ini. Dari eksperimen yang telah dilakukan, ia menunjukkan kebanyakkan rekaan ini boleh beroperasi dengan bagus dan keputusannya juga agak memuaskan. _____________________________________________________________________________________ The purpose of this design and implementation of an analog trainer is to provide tools for the educational study purposes. The trainer is one of the effective ways to demonstrate the theoretical knowledge in more practical way or more visible way. Here, trainers which are capable to perform amplitude and angle modulation are designed. The design works start with the simulation using Multisim. In simulation step, the type of the components being used is tested and its results are compared with the theoretical value. From simulation, it shows that the AM modulation part can be implemented by using IC MC1496 balanced modulator to perform their operation and this component can be reuse in three situations which are in producing DSBFC, DSBSC, and SSB with little modification. During the experimental testing, it showed a good result for DSBFC and DSBSC from digital oscilloscope. However, SSB was facing a serious attenuation problem which mainly caused by the large power dissipation of the passive LC component. Due to it, SSB was unable to be successfully designed. In FM part, a design of stereo FM was chosen. By using this design, it can be directly evaluated by conventional FM receiver (radio) to receive the transmitted signal (audio signal from MP4 player). IC BA1404 was chosen to be used in this part. Based on the experiments that had been conducted, it shows that most of the designs are able to function well and its results are quite satisfied.
