Abstract This European Standard specifies safety requirements and test methods for personal protective equipment used to protect the operator's eyes and face against harmful optical radiation and other specific risks or hazards in usual welding, cutting or similar operations. This standard specifies protection including ergonomic aspects against risks or hazards of radiative, flammable, mechanical and electrical nature.
