_______________________________________________________________________________________________________ In medicine and psychology, a syndrome is the association of several clinically recognizable features, signs, symptoms, phenomena or characteristics that often occur together. There is a variety of syndromes suffered by millions of individuals around the world. They are born with certain syndrome which has brought the difficulties in their life. Most of those disabled children cannot manage their life well like other people such as reading or eating. In the market right now, there are different kind of assistive communication device have been developed to help those disabled children such as FaceEx-comm. However, most of the devices require fine and good controlled of muscle skill. Disabled children found difficult to use these kinds of devices. Besides, those devices only bring benefits to disabled children when their parents and guardian are around them. Hence, this project is proposed to build a practicable communication device so that those disabled children have better communication device. Augmentative and Alternative Communication concept is used as the fundamental design in this project. Apart from that, Global System for Mobile Communication technology is used in order to provide a long distance communication between disabled children and parents. Furthermore, additional voice recording and playback function is equipped with the proposed project to provide those children a learning tools.
