Peranti instrumen cuaca telah lama digunakan oleh manusia untuk memanipulasi alam sekitar dengan keperluan dan manfaat kami. Teknologi ini semakin bertambah canggih dan baik sepanjang tahun, begitu juga dengan mekanisme peralatan alat cuaca dan peningkatan ini termasuk sistem pengukur hujan. Perkembangan pengukur hujan pada masa lalu ditentukan oleh dua faktor, keperluan untuk mencari tapak konvensional untuk mengukur hujan dan untuk mendapatkan perkhidmatan pemerhati yang baik. Keperluan pemerhatian berterusan adalah batasan sistem itu sendiri. Tolok hujan pada masa kini tidak berfungsi secara automatik sepenuhnya yang boleh dibiarkan tanpa pengawasan untuk tempoh masa yang panjang tanpa perlu kerap memerhati. Kita boleh mengambil stesen terpencil untuk rujukan. Stesen terpencil ini dikendalikan dengan alat pengukur hujan yang dihubungkan dengan modul radio GSM. Pengukur hujan didasarkan pada mekanisme balok tip ketepatan 0.1mm. Walau bagaimanapun, untuk kerja ini, tolok hujan berdasarkan mekanisme balok tip 0.5mm digunakan. Mikrokontroler Arduino UNO dan Ai - Thinker RA - 02 SX1278 Modul LoRa direka dan diprogramkan untuk dapat mengumpul data hujan tanpa wayar dengan bantuan daripada pemancar dan penerima. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weather instrument device have been long used by man to manipulate the surrounding nature to our needs and benefits. As technologies advanced and enhance throughout the years, so does the mechanism of weather instrument devices and said improvement includes rain gauge system. The development of rain – gauge in the past are determined by two factors, the need to find conventionally rain – gauge sites and to obtain the services of good observers. The necessity of the constant observation of a system is a limitation of the system itself. Rain gauge at present are not readily available, and fully automated instrument that can function and to be left unattended for a period of time without frequent servicing is needed. We could take Remote Station for reference. The remote stations are manned with rain gauges interfaced to GSM radio module. The rain gauge is based on a tipping bucket mechanism of 0.1mm accuracy. However, for this work, rain gauge based on tipping bucket mechanism of 0.5mm is used. Microcontroller Arduino UNO and Ai – Thinker RA – 02 SX1278 LoRa Module are designed and programmed to be able to collect rainfall data wirelessly by creating transmitter and receiver.
