Penyimpan data merupakan salah satu sistem untuk menyimpan data dan maklumat penting bagi sesebuah program atau aplikasi. Dalam projek ini, sebuah bot direka dan mampu dikawal secara automatik atau secara manual. Bagi operasi secara manual, bot ini dikawal menggunakan alat kawalan jauh. Manakala bagi bot kawalan automatik, bot ini dikawal menggunakan sistem navigator GPS menggunakan formula Haversine. Bot kawalan automatik ini menerima data GPS semasa di permukaan bumi seperti koordinat latitud dan longitud. Data tersebut kemudiannya diproses menggunakan algoritma perisian dari mikropengawal Arduino. Idea algoritma tersebut ialah menggunakan pengiraan jarak dari lokasi semasa ke destinasi sasaran. Di samping itu, bantuan daripada kompas digital juga akan membantu bot bergerak ke arah sasaran dengan lebih tepat. Ketika bot bergerak, sistem penyimpanan data yang diletakkan di dalam bot akan menghantar data ke stesen kawalan bagi membolehkan data tersebut diproses oleh satu aplikasi yang dibina dalam projek ini. Aplikasi ini mampu memberikan pengasingan data secara langsung dan mampu menyimpan data dalam format penulisan. Data ini kemudiannya boleh diproses bagi mendapatkan topografi permukaan bawah tasik. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Data logger is one of the systems to save the data and important information for certain programs or application. In this project, a boat is designed, and it can operate automatically or manually. For manual operation, this boat is controlled using the remote control. For autonomous operation, this boat is controlled using global positioning system (GPS) navigation based on Haversine formula. This autonomous vehicle receives data from GPS while on the surface of the earth like latitude and longitude coordinates. The data received is then being processed using software algorithms from Arduino microcontroller. The idea of the algorithm is to calculate the distance of the current location to the destination location. Besides, while the boat is moving towards the destination, digital compass helps the boat to move precisely. When the boat is moving, data logger system which is placed inside the boat sends the data to control station for further processing by using the application which is built for this project. This application can split the data in real-time and log the data in text format. The data can be processed to for mapping inside the lake.
