___________________________________________________________________________________ A study of thermoelectric applications on road pavement was conducted. This aims of study is to use the wasted energy of the roads pavement to generate electricity. Pavement is exposed under the sun to test the heat energy whether it is enough absorbed or not to produce voltage. The results show that the heat absorbed at the surface is moved lower side of the pavement and the maximum average temperature on the pavement surface is at 12pm which is 57.7°C and the temperature is transferred to the bottom surface with 54.58°C. Electricity is produce when there is a difference of temperature between the two surfaces of thermoelectric modules. Results showed that when the difference in temperature is 12.7°C, the output voltage that is connected in series to the thermoelectric is 200 mV. When thermoelectric module is connected to the load, the characteristics of the current-voltage and power-voltage can be analyzed and the results show that the current-voltage inversely proportional to each other. Maximum power can be produced in this experiment at a difference temperature of 13°C, with 4.63μW. At the maximum power, the load is equal to the internal resistance of thermoelectric modules which is 2850Ω.
