Rangkaian komunikasi moden semakin lebih maju dan kompleks kerana terdapat permintaan daripada orang ramai untuk menghantar dan menerima maklumat dengan mudah dan cepat. Sistem yang kompleks menjadi medan baru bagi penyelidik untuk meneroka bagaimana aspek sistem yang menimbulkan tingkah laku kolektif sistem dan bagaimana sistem berinteraksi dengan alam sekitar. Apabila penggunaan rangkaian wayarles meningkat ia menyebabkan spektrum menjadi tepu dan membawa kepada kekurangan spektrum. Oleh itu, rangkaian radio kognitif adalah penting untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini kerana ketidakcekapan spektrum yang berlaku. Beberapa kaedah telah diperkenalkan untuk mencapai matlamat membangunkan ejen berasaskan model simulasi dan identifikasi spektrum yang tidak digunakan melalui rangkaian radio kognitif. Satu kaedah yang lebih baik adalah dicadangkan untuk melengkapkan pengoptimuman spektrum dengan menggunakan kaedah penderiaan spektrum, mobiliti spektrum, keputusan spektrum dan perkongsian spektrum. Perisian Netlogo telah digunakan untuk simulasi dan eksperimen rangkaian radio kognitif. Banyak simulasi telah dijalankan untuk mengumpul data pengoptimuman spektrum dan masa perkongsian spektrum menggunakan pendekatan yang berbeza. Jumlah purata pengoptimuman spektrum paling berkesan adalah 89.3% dengan masa perkongsian spectrum 172.3s apabila bilangan nod ialah 20 dan pecahan nod ialah 19 manakala kes yang paling tidak cekap adalah apabila bilangan nod adalah 100 dan pecahan nod adalah 5 ia hanya menyebabkan 15% daripada spektrum pengoptimuman 200.3s masa perkongsian spektrum. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Modern communication networks are getting more advance and complex as there are demand from people to transmit and receive information easily and quickly. Complex system become new field for researchers to explore how aspects of a system give rise to the collective behaviours of the system and how the system interacts with the environment. As wireless network usage increase it causes the spectrum be saturated and led to spectrum scarcity. Therefore, cognitive radio network is important to solve the problem as the spectrum inefficiency occurs. Several methodologies have been introduced to achieve the goal of developing agent based simulation model and identification of unused spectrum through cognitive radio network. An improved methodology is proposed to complement the spectrum optimization by applying the method of spectrum sensing, spectrum mobility, spectrum decision and spectrum sharing. The Netlogo software was used to simulate and experiment cognitive radio network. Multiple simulation have been carried out to collect the data of the spectrum optimization and time of spectrum sharing using different approaches. The total average of most efficient spectrum optimization is 89.3% and time of spectrum sharing is 172.3s when the number of nodes is 20 and the average node degree is 19 while the least efficient case is when the number of nodes is 100 and average node degree is 5 it only results 15% of spectrum optimization 200.3s of spectrum sharing time.
