Dalam project ini, perpustakaan sel piawai telah dibangunkan. Sebuah perpustakaan sel piawai yang lengkap mengandungi pelbagai jenis sel-sel piawai termasuk sel-sel bergabungan, sel-sel berjujukan, sel-sel berkeadaan tiga, sel-sel berkuasa rendah dan sel-sel lain yang kompleks. Matlamat utama kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses merekabentuk perpustakaan sel piawai, menghasilkan sel-sel piawai yang selaras dengan kehendak rekabentuk, mengurangkan masa rekabentuk bagi projek lain dengan menghasilkan sel-sel piawai yang biasa digunakan, dan memperolehi matlumat berguna mengenai ciri-ciri sel-sel piawai yang dibangunkan. Proses merekabentuk perpustakaan sel piawai boleh dikategorikan ke dalam dua fasa. Fasa pertama dikenali sebagai rekabentuk hapadan yang mengandungi rekabentuk litar skema dan bentangan bagi sel piawai. Fasa seterusnya dinamakan sebagai proses belakang dan mengandungi aktiviti mencirikan, menyusun dan mengesahkan ciri-ciri sel piawai. Rekabentuk ini adalah menggunakan teknologi dan perpustakaan sel piawai CEDEC. Kesimpulannya, perpustakaan sel piawai yang dibangunkan masih terdapat banyak aspek lain-lain yang boleh diperbaiki lagi. _________________________________________________________________________________________ In this project, a new standard cell library is developed. A standard cell library contains different types of standard cells including combinational cells, sequential cells, tri-state cells, low power cells and other complex cells. The goals of this research are to design new types of standard cell library, create good tailored standard cells with required performance, reduce future project's design cycle by creating frequently used circuit as standard cell and acquire useful information regarding standard cell properties. The design flow of standard cell library can be categorized into two main stages. The first phase is called front end design which consists of schematic and layout design of standard cell. The following phase with the given name as back end process comprises characterization, compilation and verification of standard cells. The design is implemented with CEDEC standard cell libraries. In conclusion, the developed of this new cell that is shift and register will add in the CEDEC standard cell library.
