Projek ini telan dilakukan untuk menentukan kesan daripada suhu dan kepekatan gas terhadap kepekaan logam oksida kerana kedua-dua parameter ini mempunyai kesan yang besar terhadap kepekaan logam oksida. Kepekaan telah ditentukan dengan menggunakan persamaan matematik yang telah dibuat dalam Microsoft Excel. Kepekaan logam oksida telah diperoleh dengan menggunakan kepekatan dan suhu yang berbeza. Berdasarkan pemerhatian, suhu mempunyai kesan terhadap kepekaan logam oksida kerana kepekaan meningkat apabila suhu meningkat. Kepekatan juga mempunyai kesan terhadap kepekaan kerana kepekaan berubah apabila kepekatan gas diubah. Walaubagaimanapun, sebahagian parameter dalam persamaan perlu dikaji untuk mendapatkan keputusan yang tepat. Graf antara kepekaan sepatutnya menghasilkan graf berbentuk loceng. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ This project was performed to determine the effect of operation temperature and reducing gas concentration towards the sensitivity of metal oxide gas sensor since both parameters has significant effect on sensitivity. The sensitivity was determined by using mathematical equation which had been simulate in Microsoft excel. We compared sensitivity in samples with varying VOC concentrations and operating temperatures. It can be seen that, the temperature has a big effect to the sensitivity as the sensitivity increases when the operating temperature increases but now showing any decreasing in response. It is also found that sensitivity was changed when varying the concentration from this model. This suggests that the parameter in the modeling equation need to be studied further to get the appropriate value. The graph of sensitivity should exhibit bell-shaped gas sensitivity profiles.
