Pemutus litar vakum adalah jenis yang sering digunakan dalam system suis pengedaran voltan sederhana, dan tekanan dalaman (P) dalam pemutus vakum mempengaruhi prestasi dan jangka hayat. Oleh itu, prestasi VI dan jangka hayat akan menurun sekiranya tekanan dalaman VI meningkat. Tekanan ditetapkan pada 130 Pa hingga 2600 Pa untuk mensimulasikan kebocoran VI. Walau bagaimanapun, pengedaran medan elektrik di VI di bawah paras tekanan rendah tidak diketahui. Dalam projek ini, model simulasi VI dibangunkan dan berjaya dilaksanakan. Pengedaran medan elektrik VI di bawah tekanan rendah yang berbeza disiasat menggunakan perisian “Finite Element Method” (FEM),Comsol Multiphysics. Hasilnya, keamatan elektrik jatuh di dalam VI. Keamatan medan elektrik di dalam VI semakin meningkat apabila tekanan di dalam VI jatuh kerana medan elektrik berkadar songsang dengan kepelbagaian. Selain itu, medan elektrik juga tertumpu pada bellow pemutus vakum. Akhir sekali, projek ini akan memberikan pemahaman tentang pengagihan medan elektrik di VI. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Vacuum circuit breaker is a typical type in the medium voltage distribution switches, and the internal pressure (P) in the vacuum interrupters affect the performance of the and life. Thus, VI performance and life expectancy will drop if the internal pressure is increasing. The pressure was set at 130 Pa to 2600 Pa in order to simulate the leakage of the VI. However, the electrical field distribution in the VI under low pressure level is not well known. In this project, the simulation is developed to model rated VI under different pressure level in order to find the relationship of the electric field distribution with the pressure level inside the VI. The electric field of the distribution of VI is investigated using Finite Element Method (FEM) software, Comsol Multiphysics. As a result, the electric field intensity inside the VI is increasing when the pressure inside the VI is drop due to the electric field is inversely proportional to the permittivity. Furthermore, the electric field distribution inside the VI are concentrated on the bellow of VI. Lastly, this project will give better understanding for the electrical engineer to design a better VI.
