Kajian kesan halangan ketika bas berhenti terhadap kadar aliran tepu dipersimpangan lampu isyarat / Hau Sze Chern
Faktor pelarasan halangan ketika bas berhenti merupakan satu pembetulan bagi aliran tepu kenderaan yang bergerak melalui persimpangan lampu isyarat. Iaitu, aliran tepu yang berlaku di persimpangan berlampu isyarat bagi kenderaan yang mengalami kesan halangan ketika terdapat bas yang berhenti di perhentian bas pada jarak kirakira 7.5 meter daripada persimpangan merupakan salah satu parameter kejuruteraan lalu lintas yang biasanya mempengaruhi kapasiti sesuatu persimpangan berlampu isyarat. Parameter-parameter lain yang mempengaruhi kapasiti dan aras perkhidmatan di persimpangan berlampu isyarat ialah perbarisan kenderaan, ruang yang diterima dan kelengahan. Dalam pergerakan lalu lintas di persimpangan berlampu isyarat akan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti komposisi lalu lintas, keadaan geometri jalan raya, ciri-ciri lorong samada untuk pergerakan terus dan pergerakan membelok. Sebagai seorang jurutera rekabentuk bertanggungjawab untuk memastikan persimpangan yang direkabentuk tidak mengalami masalah kesesakan untuk satu tempoh masa tertentu. Seorang jurutera rekabentuk akan cuba mengandaikan kadar aliran kenderaan yang melalui persimpangan berlampu isyarat tersebut dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa faktor pelarasan seperti faktor pelarasan halangan ketika bas berhenti, pelarasan cerun dan sebagainya. Di samping itu, kajian-kajian telah dilakukan di beberapa persimpangan berlampu isyarat di Jalan Sungai Dua dan Jalan Makro. Dalam kajian ini, kaedah data cerapan lapangan, kaedah Highway Capacity Manual 1994, kaedah Arahan Teknik Jalan 13/87 telah digunakan untuk mendapatkan aliran tepu di persimpangan-persimpangan tersebut. Kemudian keputusan yang diperolehi dibandingkan di antara satu kaedah dengan kaedah lain. Berdasarkan perbandingan yang dibuat, kaedah penganalisisan yang paling tepat akan diperolehi. Sebagai hasil kajian, kadar aliran tepu berdasarkan data cerapan di persimpangan tersebut adalah lebih menghampiri kadar aliran tepu yang dianalisiskan berdasarkan kaedah HCM 1994 berbanding hasil analisis dengan menggunakan kaedah Arahan Teknik Jalan 13/87. Ini adalah disebabkan dalam kaedah HCM 1994 menimbangkan faktor kesan halangan ketika bas berhenti, memandangkan lokasi persimpangan lampu isyarat tersebut terdapat perhentian bas yang berdekatan. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Bus Blockage adjustment factor is a saturation flow rate correction of the vehicle pass through a signalized intersection. The correction of saturation flow rate for the vehicle pass through signalized intersection during green time and where getting bus stopping at bus stop around 7.5 meter from the signalized intersection and delay the saturation flow is a traffic engineering parameter influence in capacity of the traffic. The other parameters influence in capacity and level of service traffic are amount of vehicles waiting at signalized intersection during red time period, provided space and delay. The saturation flow rate at signalized intersection is also influenced by several factors such as traffic composition, traffic geometric and the type of lane. As a traffic design engineer should be responsible make sure the traffic congestion won’t occur in certain period during design traffic. Traffic design engineer also should be estimate the saturation flow rate at signalized intersection with consider several factor adjustment for the saturation flow rate, such as bus blockage adjustment factor, gradient adjustment factor. There are several research were done at signalized intersection at Jalan Sungai Dua and Jalan Makro to analysis the saturation flow rate. In this research, HCM 1994 method, field data collection method and Arahan Teknik Jalan 13/87 method are applied to analysis the saturation flow rate at the signalized intersection. Then the result from the several method are compared each other. According on the comparison, which method is more satisfy should be determined. As a result of analysis, the saturation flow rate base on field data is more nearly with the result analysis with HCM 1994 method as compare the saturation flow rate find with Arahan Teknik Jalan 13/87 method. It’s because in HCM 1994 method include the bus blockage adjustment factor since the location of signalized intersection is getting bus stop very near with it.
