BS 3882:1994 : Specification for Topsoil

This British Standard specifies requirements for topsoils. It establishes three grades of material and gives recommendations for the use and handling of topsoil. It is not intended (or appropriate) for the grading, classification or standardization of in situ topsoil or subsoil. Methods of sampling are given in Annex A. Methods for determination and calculation are given in Annex B to Annex M and Annex P.
