This British Standard specifies requirements for the safety, performance and labelling of matches available to the general public, including book matches, and gives the necessary test to establish compliance with these requirements, based upon statistical evaluation against an acceptable quality level (AQL) related to the severity of hazard considered to result from a failure to comply.
