Pertanian tertutup adalah mengenai penanaman tumbuhan di dalam kawasan yang tertutup seperti bangunan, rumah atau rumah hijau. Di kawasan bandar, kebanyakan penduduk tinggal di pangsapuri, kondominium dan rumah pangsa kerana harga rumah teres adalah sangat mahal dan kuantitinya yang sangat terhad. Pencahayaan lampu LED berkuasa tinggi untuk pertanian tertutup menyediakan sistem pertanian pintar. Sistem ini mampu menanam tumbuhan dalam keadaan tertutup. Projek ini direka untuk menggalakkan pertanian tertutup dengan pengunaan elektrik yang rendah dan konsep perladangan dan ruangan yang terhad. Sistem ini terdiri daripada sistem pencahayaan lampu LED, sistem pengawalan suhu, kelembapan tanah dan juga sistem paparan maklumat. Lampu LED berkecekapan tinggi digunakan bagi menggantikan matahari untuk tumbuh-tumbuhan hidup. Sistem pengawalan suhu dan sistem mengesan keadaan tanah akan bertindak apabila masing-masing mendapati nilai suhu dan nilai kelembapan tanah melebihi nilai yang ditetapkan oleh sistem. Sistem suhu, sistem mengesan keadaan tanah dan sistem kelembapan disambungkan kepada pengawal mikro Atmega328P (Arduino). Semua maklumat yang dikumpul oleh penderia dihantar kepada pengawal mikro untuk dianalisis. Kemudian, data yang telah diproses dihantar kepada sistem maklumat yang terdiri dari penunjuk LED, paparan LCD dan penggera bunyi. Kesimpulannya, sistem pencahayaan lampu LED berkuasa tinggi untuk pertanian tertutup telah berjaya dibangunkan dengan menggunakan perisian Arduino dan kombinasi bersepadu perkakasan untuk pertanian tumbuhan secara tertutup. Pada minggu ketiga penanaman sayur-sayuran, pertumbuhan sayur-sayuran dalaman untuk cili dan terung adalah lebih tinggi berbanding luar iaitu masing-masing sebanyak 27.03 % dan 30.43 %, manakala bagi sayur bendi, pertumbuhan luar adalah lebih tinggi daripada tumbuhan yang tumbuh di dalam iaitu sebanyak 33.33 %. Oleh itu, lampu LED untuk sistem pertanian tertutup boleh digunakan untuk berkembang tumbuh-tumbuhan dalam persekitaran rumah. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Indoor farming is about growing plants in a closed surface such as in building, house or in a greenhouse. In an urban area, most of the population are living in an apartments, condominium and flats because the landed property is extremely expensive and limited. LED lighting for indoor farming system provides smart farming system. This system is capable of grow vegetables and small plants indoor. This project was developed to promote indoor farming with low electricity consumption and limited space farming concept. This system consists of high efficiency LED growth light, monitoring and indicator system. High power LED lights is used to replace sunlight for the plants to grow. Monitoring system consists of temperature, humidity and soil sensors to monitor system operating condition and soil humidity level. The temperature, humidity, soil moisture sensors are connected to the microcontroller Atmega328P (Arduino). All the information gathered by the sensors are sent to the microcontroller to analyze. Then, the processed data is displayed by indicator system consists of LED signal light, LCD display and buzzer to indicate certain condition of the system. In conclusion, the LED lighting system for indoor farming was successfully developed using Arduino software and integrated with the hardware in order to grow plants indoor. In the third week of growing vegetables, the growth of indoor vegetables for chilies and eggplant is higher compared to outdoor which are 27.03% and 30.43% respectively whereas for the lady’s finger plants, growth of outdoor is higher than that of indoor for 33.33%. Thus, LED lighting for indoor farming system can be used to grow plants in the home environment.
