Perkakas elektrik merupakan salah satu keperluan yang paling penting dalam dunia moden dengan teknologi yang canggih pada masa kini untuk mencapai pelbagai operasi secara cekap dan berkesan. Sistem kawalan pintar wajar disediakan untuk mengawal operasi pelbagai perkakas elektrik terutamanya perkakas rumah supaya pembaziran penggunaan tenaga dapat dielakkan. Objektif projek ini adalah untuk mereka bentuk satu sistem kawalan pintar perkakas elektrik yang bertenaga konservatif untuk mengawal pensuisan pelbagai perkakas rumah berdasarkan kepada pengesanan kehadiran manusia di setiap bahagian kawasan yang dipantau. Mikropengawal Arduino Mega 2560 telah digunakan sebagai pengawal utama dalam sistem kawalan ini. Sensor haba D6T-44L-06 telah digunakan untuk mengesan kehadiran manusia di setiap bahagian kawasan pengesanan. Pelbagai output telah dihasilkan dan dikawal oleh mikropengawal tersebut berdasarkan kepada pengesanan kehadiran manusia di setiap bahagian kawasan pengesanan. Analisis dan penilaian terhadap sistem yang lengkap ini telah menunjukkan bahawa sistem kawalan pintar perkakas elektrik ini dapat mengawal pensuisan pelbagai perkakas elektrik berdasarkan kepada pengesanan kehadiran manusia di setiap bahagian kawasan pengesanan dan makanya sistem tersebut _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Electrical appliances are one of the most important necessaries in the modern world with advanced technologies nowadays to accomplish various operations efficiently and effectively. It is desirable to be provided with an intelligent control system to manage the operation of electrical appliances especially household appliances in order to prevent energy consumption from being wasted. The objective of this project is to design an energy conservative intelligent electrical appliance control system to control the switching of household appliances based on the detection of human presence in each section of a monitored area. An Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller board is used as the main controller of the control system. A D6T-44L-06 thermal sensor is applied to detect the presence of human being in each section of a detection area. Multiple outputs are generated and controlled by the microcontroller board based on the detection of human presence in each section of the detection area. Analysis and evaluation of the complete system have shown that this intelligent electrical appliance control system is able to control the switching of electrical appliances based on the detection of human presence in each section of the detection area and thus it has the potential to prevent the waste of electrical energy consumption.
