Rekabentuk Eksperimen (RE) mampu memberikan kesan positif dalam bidang industri dan bidang penyelidikan. Hal ini demikian kerana dengan menggunakan teknik dan prinsip RE para pengkaji dan ahli industri dapat memaksimumkan pengeluaran dengan meminimumkan kadar masukan. Walau bagaimanapun, tidak ramai yang menyedari akan kepentingan RE secara mendalam kerana subjek ini penuh dengan istilah statistik dan nombor dilihat rigid dan tidak fleksibel. Oleh itu, pendekatan yang berkesan yang direka untuk mengubah persepsi masyarakat amnya dan mahasiswa serta pekerja industri khususnya terhadap RE menggunakan Panduan Rujukan Pantas (PRP) untuk RE Faktoran 2-faktor. Untuk memastikan kesan signifikan PRP ke arah pemahaman RE, kajian dijalankan untuk mengenal pasti gaya pembelajaran responden yang merupakan pelajar kejuruteraan mekatronik. Dengan pengetahuan ini, PRP direka mengikut Pilihan Gaya Pembelajaran yang diamalkan majoriti daripada responden. Selepas PRP itu diedarkan kepada responden yang disasarkan, maklum balas responden terhadap PRP itu dianalisis. Soal selidik, PRP dan borang maklum balas yang diedarkan dalam talian melalui laman web sosial yang paling popular, Facebook. Selepas maklum balas dianalisis, dapat disimpulkan bahawa sambutan PRP amat menggalakkan dengan kadar penerimaan sebanyak 92.61%. Ini membuktikan bahawa dengan menggunakan pendekatan yang sesuai, RE semakin mula diterima oleh responden. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Design of Experiment (DoE) uses statistical design and analysis which allows an optimum yield despite the minimum value of input factor inserted. DoE is very beneficial to both industry and research field as the value can be manipulated using DoE techniques and principles However, there are less people interested to learn in depth with this subject. This is due to the nature of the subject which full with statistical terms and number which does not trigger any interest upon students and the people. Thus, an effective approach is designed to change the people’s perception towards DoE which is a Quick Reference Guide (QRG) for 2-factor Factorial DoE. To ensure the significant effect of the QRG towards DoE understanding, researches are conducted to identify the learning style of the respondent which are the mechatronic engineering student. With this knowledge, QRG is designed according to the Learning Style Preferences which majority of the respondents practiced. After the QRG is distributed within the targeted respondents, the feedback obtained from the respondent upon evaluating the QRG is analysed. The questionnaire, QRG and the feedback form are distributed online via the most popular social website, Facebook. After the feedback is analysed, it is concluded that the QRG reached an acceptance level of 92.61%.This proves that using suitable approach, DoE is started to be accepted by the respondent.
