Tujuan tesis ini adalah untuk membina sistem untuk aktiviti dokumentasi projek yang teratur yang berkaitan dengan pengurusan reka bentuk, analisis, pembinaan, pengujian, dan integrasi kelayakan dan kemungkinan penerbangan Cubesat dari Makmal Sistem Angkasa USM (USSL) bernama Malaysia Youth Satellite (MYSAT). Misi MYSAT adalah untuk mengukur ketumpatan elektron dalam E-Lapisan Ionosfera untuk membuktikan hubungan antara korelasi antara aktiviti seismik dan anomali ionosfera dan perubahan ketumpatan elektron. Oleh itu,kejuruteraan sistem dan alat pengurusan projek digunakan untuk menyokong reka bentuk konsep MYSAT. Tesis ini akan menerangkan proses dan hasil yang diperoleh dari semua subsistem yang terlibat dalam pembangunan MYSAT, termasuk analisis kos projek agar mudah dirujuk oleh pasukan projek. Oleh kerana dokumentasi projek MYSAT tidak mempunyai sistem yang betul, ini menyebabkan kesukaran menguruskan projek. Oleh itu, alat pengurusan projek telah dicadangkan untuk membantu membuat semua maklumat secara teratur yang disebut System Modeling Language (SysML). SysML dikembangkan oleh Object Management Group (OMG) yang digunakan oleh Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE). Sebelum sistem dibina, semua maklumat telah disimpan di Microsoft Excel untuk paparan terperinci yang diperoleh menggunakan kaedah Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Versi dokumentasi terkini telah dikemas kini ke dalam alat pengurusan projek agar kelihatan lebih jelas dan tersusun. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The purpose of this thesis is to build a system to organised project documentation activities related to managing design, analysis, construction, testing, and integration of qualification and possible flight of Cubesat from USM Space System Lab (USSL) named Malaysia Youth Satellite (MYSAT). The mission of MYSAT is to measure electron density in the Ionosphere E-Layer to prove the correlation between the correlation between seismic activity and ionosphere anomaly and the changes of the electron-density. Thus, system engineering and project management tools are used to support the conceptual design of MYSAT. This thesis will describe the process and result obtained from all the subsystems involved in MYSAT development, including the project cost analysis for easy to be referred by project teams. Since MYSAT project documentation doesn't have a proper system, it does contribute to difficulties to manage the project. Therefore, project management tools have been suggested to help make all the information be in an organised manner which called System Modeling Language (SysML). SysML that used by Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) developed by the Object Management Group (OMG). Before the system was built, all information has been stored in Microsoft Excel for a detailed view which derived using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) method. The latest documentation version has been updated into the project management tools for more details and organise.
