BS 7216:1989 - Classification and interpretation of new lighting products

This British Standard provides a system for the classification and interpretation of new lighting products based on their design characteristics, performance, and intended application. The standard aims to: Facilitate consistent communication between manufacturers, suppliers, designers, and users of lighting equipment Support the assessment and comparison of new lighting technologies and products Provide a framework for evaluating innovations in lighting, including those not yet covered by existing standards
