This British Standard specifies the nominal sizes, dimensions, quality, finish and testing of engineers’ cold
chisels and allied tools for hand use as follows:
— flat chisels;
— cross-cut chisels;
— half-round nose chisels;
— diamond-point chisels;
— brick bolsters;
— floorboard chisels;
— plugging chisels;
— concrete or moil points;
— parallel pin punches;
— taper punches (including nail and reaper punches);
— centre punches.
