Abstract This British Standard specifies requirements for stationary or portable, single-phase or polyphase, air-cooled reduced system voltage transformers, having a rated supply voltage not exceeding 1000 V, and a rated output not exceeding 25 kV.A single-phase or 40 kV.A polyphase, and which are suitable for operation in situations in which the ambient temperature does not normally exceeding 30 ᵒC nut occasionally may reach 40 ᵒC.
