Kenderaan digunakan sebagai pengangkutan samada manusia ataupun barang ke seluruh dunia. Kebanyakkannya mengunakan enjin pembakaran dalaman. Enjin merubah satu bentuk tenaga kepada satu bentuk yang lain melalui pembakaran. Nisbah udaraminyak sangat penting untuk memastikan pembakaran penuh untuk mengurangkan jumlah pencemar di dalam pelepasan ekzos. Prestasi sistem kenderaan berbeza bergantung kepada tujuan tertentu. Oleh itu, prestasi sistem dikesan dan diawasi melalui pemprosesan isyarat. Isyarat datang dalam pelbagai bentuk dan digunakan untuk menyiasat perilaku ataupun kejadian sesuatu fenomena, atau diubah untuk membawa informasi. Aktiviti pemprosesan isyarat selalu dibuat dalam bentuk litar elektrik ataupun algoritma. Isyarat mengandungi banyak gangguan yang tidak diingini dimana akan membuat isyarat hilang atau terganggu. Penapis digunakan untuk mengurangkan gangguan tersebut. Penapis digital adalah sistem yang melakukan operasi matematik pada sampel , isyarat masa diskret dan penapis analog menggunakan litar elektrik pada isyarat analog masa berterusan. Penapis digital bersama pemprosesan isyarat digunakan sekarang dalam sistem teknologi dan infromasi yang baru serta digunakan dalam bidang dan aplikasi berbeza. Projek ini mengunakan penapis susunan pertama laluan rendah ke dalam sistem bagi menapis gangguan. Sensor oksigen memberikan isyarat daripada enjin yang didapati melalui osiloskop. Isyarat ditapis, disemak dan dibanding untuk menentukan penapis terbaik. Kebakaran macet disebabkan oleh sistem suntikan bahan api yang dikawal oleh pengawal mikro dianalisa dan peratus kebakaran macet dikira untuk semua frekuensi potong. Keberkesanan penapis digital ditentukan melalui nilai nisbah puncak isyarat gangguan yang selalu digunakan untuk pemprosesan gambar membuatkan ia kurang dipercayai. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Vehicles are used as means of transportation for bringing people or merchandises to any places in the world. It’s mostly uses internal combustion engines. Engine transform one form of energy into another form through combustion. Air-fuel ratio is important to ensure complete combustion and reduce the amount of pollutant in the exhaust emission. The system performance of the vehicles differ depends on its specific purposes. Hence, the system performance is tracked and monitored via signal processing. Signal comes in many form and is used to investigate the behavior or nature of a phenomenon, or it is synthesized to transport information. Signal processing activities are often implemented in the form of an electrical circuit or an algorithm. Signals contains noise and unwanted disturbance which can result to signal loss and distortion. Filter is used to reduce those disturbances. Digital filter is a system that performs mathematical operations on a sampled, discrete-time signal and analog filter is an electronic circuit operating on continuous-time analog signals. Digital filters, together with signal processing, are being employed in the new technologies and information systems, and are implemented in different areas and applications. This project implement first order low pass filter into the system to filter out the noise. The oxygen sensor provides the signals from the engine in which the signal is then acquired using oscilloscope. The signal is filtered, reviewed and compared for the most effective filter. The misfire cause by the fuel injection that is controlled by the microcontroller is analyzed and the percentage of the misfire is calculated for all cut-off frequency. The effectiveness of the digital filter is determined through the value of the peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) which is usually used for image processing making the value less reliable.
