Sebuah strategi kawalan tidak linear yang telah diintensifikasikan untuk sistem pH telah dihasil dan dieksperimenkan .Keadaan operasi untuk proses sebenar telah diskala turunkan sehingga 85% disebabkan oleh intensifikasi proses . Proses pH adalah sangat tidak linear dan tidak boleh dikawal dengan baik oleh pengawal PI versi lama. Lakaran kawalan tidak linear adalah berdasarkan pada pengubahsuaian input–output yang telah dimodfikasikan melalui pendekatan penglinearan dengan menggunakan kaedah polinomial, melalui penggabungan lingkaran pusingan proses pH dengan blok input-output yang telah dilinearkan. Sebuah system kawalan IMC dihasilkan dengan memperkenalkan sebuah parameter tuning tunggal iaitu penapis IMC . Untuk mengurangkan gangguan dari masalah luar, γ telah diperkenalkan dan penapis IMC menjadi . Selain itu, pengawal PID berdasarkan IMC juga telah dihasilkan dengan mengubahsuai pengawal IMC yang telah sedia ada untuk tujuan perbandingan.Beberapa proses tuning telah dijalankan seperti P dan I tuning untuk pengawal PID berdasarkan IMC. Pengawal PID berdasarkan IMC telah dibandingkan dengan pengawal IMC yang mana setelah dibandingkan pengawal PID berdasarkan IMC menunjukkan respon yang lebih baik terhadap proses pH dari segi kesalahan pengawal yang rendah ,dan mengambil masa yang singkat untuk masa menaik dan masa selesai. ___________________________________________________________________________________ A nonlinear control strategy for intensification of pH neutralization system is developed and experimentally evaluated. The operating condition for actual process was scaling down to 85% due to intensification process. The pH process was highly nonlinear and cannot be controlled with a conventional PI controller. The nonlinear control design is based on a modified input – output linearization approach using a polynomial method, by combining pH process loop with a linearized input-output block. An IMC control system was developed by introducing a single tuning parameter which is IMC filter . For improved disturbance rejection, were introduced and the IMC filter became . In addition, an IMC based PID also was developed by rearranging the IMC control loop for comparison purpose. Several tuning process has been done such as P and I tuning for IMC based PID controller. The improved IMC based PID controller were compared with improved IMC controller and resulting with improved IMC based PID give a better performance because of low error , short rise time and settle time
