Under 620.1 is classed information about the testing of materials, including sampling, methods of test and equipment, investigation of the structure of materials, material defects, corrosion, erosion, etc. Physical and chemical properties of materials, however, are classed in 53 and 54. Testing of specific materials may be denoted by colon combination with the appropriate number. Under 620.2 is classed information about commercial materials or goods, especially dangerous goods. Under 620.4 is classed information about power stations in general (not specific kinds of power production) and under 620.9 information about the economics of energy and energy sources.
