Abstract This standard gives requirements for two types of non-heat-shrinkable sleeving extruded from silicone elastomer and distinguished principally by volatile content. These sleevings are normally available in bore sizes up to 25 mm and in a range of wall thicknesses between 0.1 mm and 2.0 mm. National standards may select a restricted list of pre- ferred combinations of bore diameter and wall thickness. These sleevings are normally available in the following opaque colours: black, blue, brown, grey, green, orange, pink, red, violet, white, yellow and green/yellow. It is also available in colourless translucent form.
