Skop kajian di dalam projek ini adalah berkaitan dengan pembangunan litar melalui pengaturcaraan mikropengawal PIC. Papan litar yang dibina adalah diperlukan untuk memulakan pengaturcaraan mikropengawal. Di dalam projek ini, mikropengawal yang sedia ada pada papan litar yang dibina bertindak sebagai sumber utama dalam proses pembangunan. Misi utama projek ini adalah untuk melakukan pengaturcaraan terhadap mikropengawal PIC yang sedia ada pada litar tanpa menanggalkan mikropengawal tersebut daripada litar tersebut dan juga paparan daripada diod pemancar cahaya (LED). Aplikasi projek ini adalah untuk memaparkan pengiraan menaik dua digit nombor binari pada diod pemancar cahaya (LED). Papan litar yang dibina adalah terdiri daripada litar pengatur sumber kuasa voltan, litar mikropengawal, litar pengayun kristal, diod pemancar cahaya (LED), ingatan EEPROM, antaramuka siri RS232 dan mikropengawal PIC. Mikropengawal PIC yang digunakan dalam projek ini adalah 16F84A. Secara umumnya, perisian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan kod HEX adalah MPLAB IDE dan pembangunan perisian (Programming software) yang digunakan untuk antaramuka dengan litar adalah IC-PROG. Perisian yang digunakan untuk merekabentuk papan litar PCB adalah perisian EAGLE. ______________________________________________________________________________________ This project is the development of In-circuit programmer circuit board with PIC microcontroller programming. The circuit board is built to start programming the microcontroller. In this project, the microcontroller act as a main source for development process. The main focus of this project is to program the microcontroller without taking it off the board. The application of this project is two digits up binary counter. The board is built using on board power supply voltage regulator circuit, microcontroller’s circuit, crystal oscillator circuit, LED, EEPROM memory, RS232 serial port interface and PIC microcontroller. PIC 16F84A is the microcontroller that is used in this project. The programming software which is used to download program to the microcontroller is ICPROG and development software to write a program is MPLAB IDE. Software that has been use to do the PCB design is EAGLE software.
