Satu alat sintesis frekuensi adalah satu sistem elektronik untuk menjana apa-apa satu julat frekuensi-frekuensi daripada sebuah pengayun. Alat sintesis ini dijumpai dalam banyak alat moden, termasuk radio penerima-penerima, telefon-telefon bimbit, telefon radio, walkie talkie, radio jenis CB, penerima-penerima satelit, sistem-sistem GPS. Alat sintesis akan berteraskan alat sintesis integer-N seni bina. Alat sintesis akan menggunakan Silterra CMOS 0.18μm teknologi untuk pembinaan litar elektronik dalam satu cip dan simulasi litar adalah dibuat melalui perisian CADENCE. Alat sintesis mempunyai 16 saluran bawah dengan lebar saluran 50 kHz meliputi daripada 102.4MHz kepada 103.15MHz. Saluran bawah boleh dipilih menggunakan 4 input luar. Daripada hasil simulasi, alat sintesis boleh untuk mengunci di kekerapan terhasrat di tempoh 500 milisaat. Sebagai satu kesimpulan, reka bentuk alat sintesis frekuensi berjaya memenuhi keperluan projek. _________________________________________________________________________________________ A frequency synthesizer is an electronic system for generating any of a range of frequencies from an oscillator. They are found in many modern devices, including radio receivers, mobile telephones, radiotelephones, walkie-talkies, CB radios, satellite receivers, GPS systems. The synthesizer will be based on the integer-N synthesizer architecture. The synthesizer will be implementing using the Silterra CMOS 0.18μm technology inside a single chip and the circuit simulation is done through the CADENCE tools. The synthesizer has 16 sub channels with 50 kHz channel spacing cover from 102.4MHz to 103.15MHz. The sub channel can be selected using the 4 external inputs. From the simulation result, the synthesizer is able to lock at the desired frequency at the duration of 500 milliseconds. As a conclusion, the design of the synthesizer meets the project requirement.
