Applicability: This standard applies to all types of yarns and threads that are wound in packages.
Knot Strength: Measures the breaking force of a yarn when tied in a knot.
Loop Strength: Measures the strength of a yarn when formed into a loop and subjected to tension.
Testing Conditions: Specifies procedures for conducting these tests under controlled conditions to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
Purpose: Helps manufacturers, quality control labs, and textile researchers assess the durability and performance of yarns under different stress conditions.
