Banjir adalah bencana alam semula jadi yang paling biasa di Malaysia yang berlaku hampir setiap tahun di Malaysia. Ini kerana lokasi geografi Malaysia yang mengalami musim tengkujuh setiap tahun. Kesan banjir termasuk kerosakan ke pali rumah, kedai dan industri. Dalam projek ini, sistem pengesan banjir berautomasi kos rendah telah dilakukan. Sistem pengesan banjir berautomasi ini terdiri daripada sistem pemantauan yang digunakan untuk memberi amaran tentang banjir yang akan berlaku. Sistem pengesan banjir automatik menggunakan penderia paras air, kadar aliran dan penderia jatuhan hujan untuk ramalan banjir yang boleh dipaparkan kepada pengguna pada masa yang sama.Sebuah mikropengawal, Arduino UNO digunakan dalam projek ini untuk mengawal semua sensor dan mengumpul data. Dibahagian komunikasi, ESP 8266 modul WIFI digunakan untuk menghantar data seperti kelajuan titisan hujan itu, kadar aliran dan paras air kepada pangkalan data dalam talian yang boleh memantau dengan mudah di mana pun anda berada. Loceng isyarat telah disertakan untuk memberi amaran kepada pengguna berdekatan. Untuk memeriksa paras air pada waktu malam, jalur LED dipasang berhampiran tebing sungai yang menunjukkan paras air. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Flood is the most common nature disaster in Malaysia which happens nearly every year in Malaysia. The reason is due to geographical location of the Malaysia which experiences monsoon season every year. The effects of flooding include damage to home, shops and industries. In this project, a low cost automated flood detector system is proposed. This automated flood detector system consist of monitoring system which used to alert about the upcoming flood. The automated flood detector system uses a water level sensor, flowrate and rain drop sensor for flood prediction that can be displayed to the user simultaneously. A microcontroller Arduino UNO is utilized in the project to control all the sensor and collect data. For communication part, ESP 8266 WIFI module is used to send data such as speed of the raindrop, flowrate of the water and water level to online database that can be monitored easily where ever you are. Buzzer is included to give warning for the people nearby. In order to check the water level at night, LED strips is installed near the river bank to indicate as the water level.
